WE SHOULD NOT PLAY PING-PONG WITH GOD'S WORD.

There is a biblical principle of  rightly dividing the Word of Truth.  What an interesting concept - "rightly" understanding truth.  In this book, John C. Egerdahl defends the Christian faith as it relates to biblical eschatology (the end times) and points out specific aspects of dispensational theology that have distorted the truth of the Word of God.  He notes that since the Holy Spirit is the inspirer of the Word of God and is the Spirit of Truth, he cannot be the author of two views that are diametrically opposed.  Both views may be wrong, but both cannot be scriptural.  Egerdahl holds that the biblical evidence is conclusive and the Scripture should be read and studied within their context.

This book helps level the playing field, overcoming the problem of popular religious media bias.  In our society's political correctness, truth is not relevant, but altered by interpretation or monetary motivation.  Consequently, the essence of truth can be lost in the dust of diplomacy;  Here is the other side of the story, which has in part been kept hidden from the people in the pew.

"It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings"  (Prov. 25:2).  This book assists serious students by providing tools to discover the treasures in the restored Bible.

Rev. John C. Egerdahl
is Pastor Emeritus at Bible Chapel in Auburn,
Washington.   After 41 years of pastoring,  including 25 years directing Auburn College of the Bible, he is now semi-retired.   His desire to spread God's truth led Him as far as China (distributing Bibles) and to Bible Colleges in Itarsi and Kerala, India.  His polemical and apologetic method of comparing scripture to dispensational teachings will cast light on all who seek the truth of God's Word.
